Supportive counselling that creates an environment for emotional/behavioural regulation with creative, somatic, and tools of play. Children and Teens love Makenzie Moran Bosgra's ability to connect and to create support in a welcoming environment. She creates a fun environment that promotes the change you are seeking.
Makenzie is a registered social worker, somatic wellness facilitator, and deeply curious human devoted to creating spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, their stories, and their sense of belonging.
She is rooted in a person-first, family-centered, body-based approach with a focus on emotional and behavioural regulation and support through facilitating somatic workshops for adults, and working one to one with children and youth ages 6-16. After working with Red Deer's public school district for 5 years, Makenzie operates with the simple but profound belief that it only takes one caring person to make a lasting impact in the life of another.
Because of this, Makenzie's workshops and supportive counselling sessions are built on the foundation of community, empowerment, and trust It takes a village for all of us. If you're looking for a place to land, get curious, and come back home to your body, you are so welcome her.
Makenzie is in process of completing her Somatic and Breath Work certificates.

INVESTMENT
Sessions are between 60 to 85 Minutes in length.

Individual Therapy: With Patricia Popoff
$195 per session. The session is approximately 60 to 85 minutes, depending on your needs.
Individual Support: With Cayden Popoff or Makenzie Moran Bosgra
$50 per support session. The session is 60 minutes.
Couple (up to 2 people): With Patricia Popoff
$210 per session.
The session is approximately 60 to 85 minutes, depending on couples needs.
Family Session (3 or more people): With Patricia Popoff
$225 per session.
The session is approximately 60 to 85 minutes or more depending on family needs.
PAYMENT:
We accept direct billing, insurance reimbursement, cash, email transfer, debit and/or credit.
Due to the ability of benefit reimbursement, there are NO refunds.
INSURANCE:
We Direct Bill through Telus Health. We are on the provider list of several insurance companies.

We take all forms of payments and we will provide an official receipt so that you may submit for reimbursement as long as your insurance plan covers a registered social worker. If you do not have benefits please inquire at 403-391-3882 for more information. We also have options for sliding scale.
