Patricia Popoff, Counselling, Psychotherapy, Intuitive Healing

Janet Brietzke brings clarity, warmth, and a refreshingly honest approach to therapy. She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and empowering women. With a natural ability to connect and a deep respect for each person’s story, she helps clients navigate life’s complexities with courage, curiosity, and self-trust.

Rooted in narrative therapy, Janet believes the stories we carry shape not just how we see ourselves, but what we believe is possible. She works collaboratively with clients to gently reframe limiting narratives, uncover personal strengths, and foster a sense of empowerment that feels authentic and lasting. Janet also incorporates emotional regulation and mindfulness to treat complex trauma. Janet’s style is direct yet deeply supportive—always aiming to help clients access their own inner wisdom rather than impose advice or direction.

Humour is a key part of the process. Sessions with Janet often include lightness and laughter, even in the midst of heavy work. She believes joy and healing go hand in hand, and that reconnecting with joy is a radical and essential part of recovery. Her presence offers safety without judgment—allowing clients to explore, process, and ultimately rewrite the beliefs that have held them back.

Janet's passion is to explore elements within nature and traveling.
